Jeffrey Marshall

Jeffery Marshall, Ed.D., Brigadier General (Retired) has a long career in both the US Army and civilian corporations. As an Army officer, he commanded units from platoon to brigade and was Director, Analysis and Assessments for a four-star command. He had deployments in Bosnia for peacekeeping and in Afghanistan, where he led the initial multinational team that rebuilt the Afghan security forces. In corporate life, he was a Vice President, Consulting Services for a large, global IT company. He is married with four sons and several grandchildren. He has written numerous books and papers, including an influential paper on peacekeeping in Africa, and a book, Thrive in the Age of Knowledge.
