Prakash has over 25 years of experience in senior finance roles in public accounting, internal controls and risk management in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and semi-conductor manufacturing sectors. He is also an ardent leader in the nonprofit sector in his advisory roles, especially on Strategic Finance, Ethics, and Enterprise Risk Management. He is a certified Public Accountant and Management Accountant. His recent leadership positions as part of the global board of the Institute of Management Accountants include Chair of the Ethics Committee (2023), and Chair of Performance Oversight & Audit Committee (2025). He has been a mentor to various groups of management accountants seeking professional certification in finance and audit functions.
